  Unfortunately it has only taken the new owners two years to completely ruin this wonderful place. They seem to be cartering to very large noisy groups. Not a very relaxing place to be anymore. We have been going annually for at least 20 years and always had a great time, not so this year. The first night we couldn't get into the restaurant as it was taken over by a big group, on our second night we couldn't get into the bar as a very large party was in there. If there going to restrict access to main parts of the hotel they should at least advise you before you arrive. It would also help if it wasn't run by students. This was a wonderful place to go but not anymore.

  As a romantic getaway in Southern Ontario this is the ideal place to go. With little stores all within walking distance from the hotel there is no need to take your car. Beautiful all seasons of the year with friendly courteous staff I will definitely come back.

  Second time at this place and it was great again. Great place we are planning our next visit already. We had the room with the fire place this time. It was great. We also had dinner and breakfast at the willow room. Food was great. Definitely recommend you try them. I had the ribeye and my wife the trout. We also had the calamari for as appetizer. I would recommend it all. All cooked to perfection.

  We attended their second (I believe) Sunday brunch of the season. The cold buffet spread was gorgeous and delicious (everything from a meat carving station, to chacuterie, to oysters, to muffins, superb!), and the hot food menu was to die for (I had the blueberry pancakes, mmm). The service was also spot on. All in all it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Bayfield area. 10/10.

  Room 11 was awesome. Exposed brick wall, updated bathroom. Everyone was super friendly! Our meal was amazing, as was our breakfast.
